3G2

3G2 (3GPP2) is a multimedia container format defined by the 3rd Generation Partnership Project 2 for CDMA-based mobile networks. Similar to 3GP but designed for CDMA2000 phones, 3G2 files contain video and audio optimized for mobile playback with minimal storage and bandwidth requirements.

M4V

M4V is Apple's video container format, very similar to MP4 but sometimes includes Apple's FairPlay DRM protection. Unprotected M4V files are essentially MP4 files and play on most devices. M4V is commonly used for videos purchased or rented from the iTunes Store.
