PFA
PFA (Printer Font ASCII) is the ASCII-encoded version of Adobe's PostScript Type 1 font format. PFA files contain font outlines using cubic Bezier curves stored as human-readable PostScript code. While largely superseded by OpenType, PFA fonts are still found in legacy print workflows, TeX/LaTeX typesetting systems, and older PostScript-based publishing environments.
